I strongly believe in Laissez-Faire capitialism like with Pia Varma (piavarma.com). With a separation of economics, in the same way and for the same reasons as a separation of state and church.

The Church speaks of four sins that cry to heaven for vengeance. Two are cheating workers out of wages and exploiting widows and children. Both happen every day in our greedy country.

Ambition is not evil within limits. The struggle for success is not bad within limits. Hard work and fair rewards are good within limits. It is not good to take from the poor and give to the rich, and that's exactly what this country is doing today.

Three reasons why I do not appreciate Plato, Aristotle, and Ayn Rand are as follows:

1. Plato was dreaming of a utopia where all PERFECT people would live together. Imperfect people, including the deaf, the blind, the like, were the ones Plato did not want to live with.

2. Everybody knows that Aristotle considered deaf people as the ones who were incapable to reason (were uneducateable) and was the one who told the Greek government to dump into the forest.

3. Ayn Rand believed that greed was good (look at greedy banks, AIG, Freddie-Fannie, and the like)
and was anti-altruism. Sound familiar? Yay, if one reads "Thus Spake Zarathustra." Which is why Ayn Rand is called "neo-Nietzsche" which is dangerous if one looks at the history of the Nazi Germany.

Many naive readers are crazy about the aforementioned. Sad, n'est-ce pas? Therefore, one woud have to read their works with judgment and intelligence and be skeptical. (That was why Bush was in trouble.)

It's really wonderful to see how you have been participating in so many activities, especially with the public activities (of television), and pushing for awareness of Deaf power and equal access to communication. Small or big, contributions to communities are always valued, and you had done so much. Each of us have a talent for what we can do; in your case, you are involved with much of television while mine is more to human sevices. Nevertheless, each of us are valuable to the Deaf community! Keep up with what you're doing! :)

My kids were watching gluely to Dr. Wnnders program. They asked for repetation. Wow. That is unusal for them to watch again and again. My oldest wanted to bring one to her school, ha. She wants the kids to learn what she learned from Dr. Wonders workshop. Cute! Then I caught a glimpse of a familiar face, that is YOU!!

Brance, I saw you on tv last august when I was in FL. I thought to myself.. hmm that guy looks like brance??? Peering closely at the TV screen *thudding* oh my god it is our brance!!! Great show by you, David R and others. Very impressive!

I borrowed my friend's HD camera Sony HDR-SR12. I just learned something today from DVTV vlogger, JefftheDH (http://www.deafvideo.tv/vid... that the Insignia 720p HD cost only $100.00 at Best Buy. Cool! He shot with his new camera at YouTube (his channel name is HDFREAK74).
